I have a question for all of you.
Is there actually a left side of the road? Because if you think about it, you are always driving on the right side of the road, so that gets me thinking…
Does the left side of the road actually exist? Yes you can see it, but is it actually there? Is it like an optical illusion? Or maybe the left side of the road is in a different reality, but a reality so close to our daily reality that we can still see it?
Who knows, but it really does get you thinking doesn’t it? Even when you switch lanes or even do a U-turn to go the opposite way on the road. You are still on the right side of the road!
But…
There are around 76 countries that do drive on the left side of the road.
So…
Does the right side of the road not exist for them? Maybe the left side of the road only exists in certain parts of the world just like the right.
You would not believe how much I think about this.
